1. Woven Wire Weave Style
Plain Weave
Plain weave is the most common way of stainless steel mesh.Each warp wire crosses the top and bottom of each weft wire,the diameter wire is the same thickness as the weft wire, and the warp and weft are woven at a 90 degree Angle.Plain woven mesh is relatively square and uniform in size. |
Twill Weave
Twill knitting is another common knitting method in addition to plainknitting. A weaving method in which each warpis crossed over and overevery 2 weft wires and each weft wire is crossed over and over every 2 diameter wires.Twill weaving allows the use of a larger wire diameter than plain wire mesh with a similar mesh number. |
Plain Dutch Weave
A weaving method in which warp and weft fibers have different diameters and a different number of longitudinal and transverse meshes. During the weaving process, the wires are pulled closer together,resulting in a denser, denser mesh.The number of meshperinch of mesh and the aperture inmicrons are the most common ways to describe the various Dutchwoven mesh specifications. |
Twill Dutch Weave
Similar to Dutch plain weave, but actually double weft woven in a twill pattern. The wire mesh is "light tight", has a very smooth surface and is strong, but the flow rate is limited. Also known as micromesh, it is commonly used for filtration under high pressure. |
Reverse Dutch Weave
The plain weave method is used, but in contrast to the plain Dutch weave, the diameter of the weft wire is greater than the diameter of the warp wire, so the number of horizontal and longitudinal mesh is different. This wire mesh is very strong, easy to clean and allows high flow rates. |
Rectangular Weave
Each warp is crossed above and below each weft wire, and the warp and weft are woven at a 90 degree Angle. Similar to plain weave, warp and weft wires usually have the same diameter, except that themesh is an evenly sized rectangle. |
Five-Heddle Weave
Adopting one-pressure-four weaving method, the wire mesh of this weaving method has higher filtration precision and tensile strength than the general weaving mesh, and it has high permeability that the dense mesh does not have. |
Multiplex Weave
Twill woven wire mesh consisting of multiple metal wires forming the warp and weft. A strong wire mesh with a relatively high number of openings per unit area and considerable flexibility. In some structures, it produces capillary action. |
