The design, installation and operation of the demister shall ensure high availability and good demisting effect. It must also have very high removal efficiency for very small water droplets.
The mist eliminator system shall be composed of two-stage plate type mist eliminator, and special attention shall be paid to the influence of the change of fly dust concentration at the inlet of FGD device. A flushing system to remove sediment shall also be included in the demister system.
