The vane types are the Chevron type of mist eliminators which consist of a set of specially designed vanes with a well defined geometry, with closely spaced corrugated plates. They are very usual and useful internals for liquid separation from gas. These types according to design and shape can remove the droplets more than 8 microns.

I have a customer from South East Asia, who is in the vessel repair and service business. Early this year Mr. K enquired to us for a kind of vane plate mist eliminator to be used in ventilation system of vessels. It had limited space for the vessel and nominated gas flow direction, which was different from our normal intallation way. I listened to Mr. K carefully and made the draft drawing below for his checking. I took both the gas flow direction and space into consideration. Meanwhile I checked with our workers beforehand to see if they could realize my design with our raw material. After friendly communication, everything was settled and the order went into production soon.
