PTFE Dwire Mesh Demister 316L Grids Popular Way Anti Corrosion
The wire mesh demister is installed above the surface of the liquid with some distance. From one hand it allows some space for the natural disengagement of the coarsest natural particles. From the other hand, it ensures that the gas/ vapour flow is uniform over the whole area of the mist eliminator
The gas / vapor containing droplets passes into mesh pad demister at a predetermined velocity. It easily finds open path through the mesh but the droplets and mist impinge on the filaments of mesh where they coalesce and eventually grow to such a size to overcome surface tension of liquid and force of gravity. Then the liquid droplets so formed fall down. And the mist free gas / vapour passes through the mesh demister pad.

When properly designed demister pads can give efficiency up to 99.9% with minimal pressure drop. Normally demister pads can remove droplets down to 5 microns and lower with a free volume of up to 99% and a surface area of up to 1940 m2/m3. Due to high value of free volume the pressure drop across the demister pad is sufficiently low in most applications.

Low pressure rectifying column:
The mesh pad demister increases the purification ratio, that enables a deep cut in residue oil to improve the quality of gas oil. The improved gas oil contains less carbon, asphalt and corrosive metals, increases decomposition capacity by the residue load in the regenerator, and maintains a higher contact reaction to produce a higher gasoline yield ratio.
Lubricant refinery tower:
The mesh demister increases production volume and yield ratio and improves production quality. As a result, the refining of solvent and white clay is practically rationalized.
Distilling equipment:
Improved performance can be obtained in equipment for processing asphalt, organic intermediate substances, fine chemicals, vegetable oil, tall oil, fatty acid, glycerin, lubricant, benzene and propane.
Evaporator:
The mesh pad demister prevents carryover of valuable products, can be appropriately used for boiler feed water or processes, and produces high quality condensate.
Steam drum:
Demister produces clean and dry solids of less than 0.5ppm and prevents water from flowing back into the turbine.
Absorption tower:
Effective for completely removing all types of flying and accompanying liquids such as absorption oil, glycol and amine dissolution and discharges clean and dry gas. This also improves process efficiency.
