Product Description
CY Wire Gauze Packing / 100mm Ss Column Packing High Efficiency
Materials of Construction
The most common material used for structured column packing is SS 304L and SS 316L. However manufactures this solely based on our customers' requirements and can also be made from other materials based on special requests. Other materials like Titanium, duplex 2205, copper, etc. are also no problem with us.
Uniform Liquid Distribution
In order to achieve even liquid distribution over the packing it is a must to have a good liquid distributor to maximize the interaction of the liquid and vapor. However if the packing height exceeds 3 meters we recommend using an intermediate liquid re-distributor as well for even flow.
The mass transfer efficiency of wire mesh corrugated packing is directly determined by its specific surface area. According to the specific surface area, it can be divided into 250, 500 and 700 types. As the corrugated metal mesh filler belongs to the type of liquid membrane mass transfer, opening holes on corrugated filler sheet or making double-layer wire mesh filler to strengthen the uniform distribution of liquid on the corrugated wire mesh sheet, especially in low spray density, whether to ensure the uniform distribution of liquid on the wire mesh sheet is the key to maintain high separation efficiency.
